That's right, I am 37 years old and secure enough with myself to admit that I love gummy bears. These soft and chewy, fruit flavored, tiny little bears, bring a happiness to my taste buds that M&M's never could. Now don't get me wrong I do like chocolate, but when it comes to candy I will always choose gummy bears hands down.
These little German creations first came into being way back in the 1920's and since that time gummies have transformed themselves into other shapes. worms, frogs, hamburgers, cherries, cola bottles, sharks, apples, oranges have all made their way into the gummy world, but for me the bear is still the perfect gummy shape.
They have been made plain, and with a sour coating on them. There has even been a cartoon about them (yes I have watched it.) They even have a song for them.

Yes I know it sounds sad that a grown man would act in such a way, but I LOVE MY GUMMY BEARS, even if they do give me an upset stomach.
